Reviews about Publix Super Market at King Plaza

My experience of shopping at this publix has been great every single time. They have very professional, courteous, and caring staff. The cashiers are the check out are amazing. I haven't seen this kind of excellent service at any other grocery store, or even a restaurant. It seems, they have trained their staff very well. As a result, I find myself going there more often.

I've been trying to craft a scenario in my noggin that features Publix management encouraging--nay, requiring!--their employees to be uniformly friendly, helpful, and conscientious.  I can't, because I've been myriad places, interacted with untold thousands of employees at other groceries, and have shambled around the mortal coil more times than I care to admit...publicly, at least, and have never found better employees. I've also been in charge of managing people and recognize that you can''t compel cranky sourpusses to be smiling workers.  I really have no idea how Publix does it, when other grocery retailers (and retailers of all ilks) have employees that are apathetic, slovenly, and, at times, outright hostile.   Publix executes retail the way that most people would envision, if people had their 'druthers.  Employees here--and every Publix I've ever patronized--are exemplary.  From appearance to disposition to knowledge of the store, Publix staff are at the apex of the retail sector.  As several other reviewers have noted, your trivial query becomes the most pressing item on their to-do list when you ask for assistance.  They don't just point in a vague direction and mumble something, they will take you there directly and without displaying the impatience and impertinence that you'd receive most other places. +1 on the deli sandwiches.  I don't always go to Publix when I'm pining for a sub sammitch, but when I do, I feel like I've scored a gastronomical delight...on a relative scale accounting for sandwich goodness.  Publix deli subs are sandwich greatness. Wander around and find stuff that you've never seen.  Pick up staples.  Buy a steak.  You'll pay more than you would elsewhere (except that Joe's place), but you'll be getting high quality and superior service.  If you ever get something home that dissatisfies you, return it with no hassles.  I wish all shopping was as pleasant as it is at Publix.
