I love this place! The staff is so helpful and so knowledgeable. I took a wire wrapping class and loved it. Also great selection on pretty much everything.

This store was recommended to me by a friend and fellow crafter. The selection was ok- nothing interesting or unusual. My issue was with the customer service or lack thereof. I understand that one of the people (owner? manager?) was waiting on someone else, but the guy that waited on me was not totally conversant in English and could answer few of my questions. The manager woman didn't even say, "I'll be with you in a moment" or respond to the questions I was giving her co-worker, who couldn't answer some of what I needed. The beads on the wall are not marked as to price and are knotted in such a way that you can't get individual strands but have to bring a large, multi strand octopus of beads to someone who will then attempt to separate your strand for you. There are also many strands behind the counter. Are these for sale? For class? I'll never know because even when I asked, no one answered this question. Even worse, I am disabled. After walking back and forth across the store with large things of beads multiple times, I saw that there were two chairs set up near a beading table at the back of the room. I made sure to move the chair far from the table, as to not disturb whatever was happening there. The owner/manager snapped at me for sitting there and when I asked if I could instead sit on the stool that I saw there, she gave me a look that made me pay for my purchases and leave. The pity is, besides being someone who was there to spend money, I also bead with many people in the area and I can not recommend this shop because of the customer service issues. Going here makes me with that the Bead Shoppe in Avondale Estates was still open.
